Here are the criteria we use to determine inclusion on the site.

1. Original, Creative, Innovative

2. Good Gameplay – We value fun gameplay over beautiful 3D Hollywood like graphics.  We have seen a few games like the original Brickshooter which is highly addictive but doesn’t have as nice graphics as their later version BrickShooter Egypt.  If after we play the game for the trial period we just want to buy it we will include it on the site. 

3.   File Size – We value fun games with smaller file sizes that still offer original creative game play.   This can be tricky though when a game developer includes a music track which really add enormous punch to the game like Jet’s N Guns Gold or Revolved by Alter Ego Studios.    We appreciate the music and don’t penalize someone for a larger file game which contains music. 

4. System Requirements – We prefer games that appeal to a larger audience.  If a game requires the highest graphics card or is memory intensive you are limiting you’re the number of eligible prospects for the game. 

5. Tutorials or Instructions – Many game genres appeal to us from the most bloody action oriented to the most family friendly puzzle games.  We appreciate when a game developer adds instructions or a tutorial so we don’t have to waste time guessing how the game works.  We have come across a few games which we downloaded and attempted to play but the developer built the game for a more “sophisticated” audience we guess because they didn’t include a tutorial or instructions.   Why should a developer do this?   It can expand the pool potential prospective buyers.  We are not sure why a game developer wouldn’t want to expand their potential revenue base.

Also indicate which third party (Regnow, Plimus SWREG etc) you use. You must use a third party company to manage your affiliate or partner program for HarryBalls to include your game on the site.
